I recently installed a 98 freightliner cummins and allison 545 in a 93 chevy that had a 6.5 turbo diesel and 4l80e.I am trying to get the speedo working but cannot figure out the wiring.The allison has three wires on the sensor and the 4l80e ... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

Default allison speed sensor wiring

I recently installed a 98 freightliner cummins and allison 545 in a 93 chevy that had a 6.5 turbo diesel and 4l80e.I am trying to get the speedo working but cannot figure out the wiring.The allison has three wires on the sensor and the 4l80e has two wires.Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated. -

If it has three wires it would be a hall effect sensor wich isn't compatable with GM'S pulse speed generator. You will have to do sonething similar to this. http://www.jagsthatrun.com/v8-s10-in...fferential.pdf -

well you beat me to it great job -

Does anyone sell the reluctor ring for the allison 545?I have checked the internet and have not been able to find one. -
