I dont see it being that hard. Get a wiring diagrahm to make guages work. You will need a different trans. Frames are the same on gas and diesel trucks I believe.

Check and make sure its a 8800 GVWR before ya get to much further or you'll be swapping front suspension peices to handle the extra weight of the CTD.

Shouldn't be to hard of a swap if ya use the 93 motor.

the swap really shouldnt be too hard at all, as for the tranny if i were you i would put in a NV4500, or maybe be inventive and use a G56... i would say a NV5600 but i guess they dont make parts for them any more

Sounds like a good swap. I wish I had time to do one. Maybe silly but I dont know much about 12V's when did they switch from the VE pump to the P-pump?

94 was the first year for the P-pump trucks. I love my VE, it doesnt take but a couple wrenches n a screw driver to turn it up, n fine tune it.
But the P-pumps r capable of sooo much more.

Sorry about butting in here and kinda Hijaking but I too have a question about swaps. I have a 96 V10 truck and have been looking at doing a swap. I have heard mixed info on the trans. Are the bellhousings the same on the gas motors and the diesel motors? I pretty much bought this truck with this in mind to do. Thanks for any info in advance and once again sorry for the hijack!

ya you will have to get another trans. the gassers trans will not hold up that diesel will tear it up. Sounds like a cool project.

Well I was going to have some work done to it but was just wondering if the bell housing is the same. I can have the internals reworked to live behind the cummins power.
