Default leaking steering fluid? and making whining noise help

ok so i started my truck up today and when i did it was making a whining noise when i would turn the steering wheel and when i would push on the brake. i got to my job and let the truck set for 30 min and noticed a fluid that was on the ground near the driver side front part in front of the front end it seem to me to be steering fluid. has any one had this problem and what could it be thanks

It could be a leaking hose, bad seals in the steering box or the pump leaking. If it gets low on fluid it will make that noise.
