Default 94 F250 Pre power stroke will not rev

My 94 F250 Direct injection Turbo diesel will not Rev up at all, it smokes like its getting way to much fuel? I am lost here, I just put a new Map sensor on because my tuner gave me the code indicating that it was bad. Still doing the same thing. Any ideas?

If its direct injection its a powerstroke. Do you have a scanner?

Its the international, i don't have scanner that works for my year, I have a programmer that runs diagnostics, but it showed the map sensor was bad, I replaced it, but still no change

The powerstroke is an international engine. Is it an idi as in indirect injection or the powerstroke which is a direct injection engine.

If it's smoking white, and smells like fuel, most likely a fuel problem.
Maybe clogged filter, line, etc.

If it's black, you're getting too much fuel for the air available.
Could be a severely clogged filter, bad turbo, etc.

You may try seeing what it does if you unplug the icp sensor.

All set the truck back to stock and remove the programmer.
