HELP! Edge evolution CTS totally screwed my truck
Alright here is the issue.
I have a 2013 GMC sierra 2500HD Duramax. I purchased the edge evolution CTS (Have had edge products before with no issues), and this programmer killed my truck. There apparently is "new software" in my truck that edge does not have in their programmers. When attempting to program my truck it keeps saying "error" and that it has to reboot and try again. It keeps failing, so i unplugged it. But now all the electronics are screwy saying they need to be serviced (just as if it was in the middle of being programmed) but it's permanent, and my truck will not start. I disconnected the battery, still nothing. I called edge but they are closed now and I can't wait all weekend without having my truck. So any tips? has this happened to anyone else? I'm really hoping this is a quick fix on edge's side and that my truck isn't totally f*cked. My next idea would be to have the dealership reset the computer but i don't want them knowing this was caused from a programmer. Help someone please.

Yeah i've already looked around, but i can't seem to find anything regarding this. So ill wait till monday to talk to them i guess. i'm assuming its an update they will do.Im hoping they can do the update and it will fix the ECM on the spot. really don't want to take it in.

**Update
Spoke with edge, they attempted to create a custom software program for my CTS to use on my truck to bring it back to stock use. This attempt failed.
Me vehicle has recently been hoisted onto a tow truck and transported to the dealership. Edge has apparently never seen this issue before and is unsure of what to make of it (I'm assuming it's a recent ECM update GMC has done on their vehicles that edge was unaware of).
So, i spoke with edge and asked how they are going to accommodate this inconvenience for me, and determine whether or not the edge CTS i purchased will even work on my vehicle. I am assuming they will be attempting to write another code for this newer update, the only problem now is i am going to be skeptical about installing it seeing how i don't want this screw up to happen again.
I am waiting to here back from both the dealership and edge, and we will see what the conclusion is.

***Update from GM
Soo apparently the ECM is completely screwed and they are ordering in a new one...luckily this truck is brand new so it is a "malfunction with the vehicle" and is covered under warranty...For anyone with a newer truck, be careful, this is a huge screw up on Edge's part seeing as they should be aware their product can do this type of damage.

Yeah i know right...already confirmed they are replacing the ECM and it is covered so in this situation the less they know the better

***Final Update
Spoke with Edge and they have been very accommodating regarding the situation. They are willing to give me a full refund for the programmer. I was told that this has been an issue with newer GM trucks, and once the ECM is flashed, the second time programming the ECM will yield a successful outcome. The assured me that if i wanted to try it again and something happened, that they would pay for me to overnight it to them, fix the ECM/Program the ECM (if the ECM was screwed they would replace it), and pay to overnight it back. I was skeptical on this and told the guy i wanted a refund which he understood, and took the necessary steps to complete this transaction...I was feeling risky and decided i would try programming it again...and this time is worked.
Sooo for anyone that has this issue, if you have a newer truck that is under warranty, try and pass it off for a manufacturer error and have the ECM replaced (unless you would rather edge deal with the situation), and for those that don't have warranty, edge seems very accommodating...I'm just happy i have a working truck WITH a computer programmer.
