I'm a licensed heavy duty tech but mostly worked on trucks ,started out working on equipment but decided early on that I didn't like the heavy lifting and a boom truck to do little jobs so I got into the truck and trailer part for a while then found that there was more money behind the wheel, now I'm up to 3 trucks and do all my own work on them and my backhoe and tractors -

When I was in school I worked for Giles and Ransome Cat on heavy equipment. I did everything from working parts, working in the main shop, repairing undercarriage and even field service. I then worked 2 years for Transedge Mack / Volvo mainly doing modcenter work (wheelbases, lift axle installation and removal and frame repair). And now i work for Werner Enterprises Allentown, Pa terminal. Werner runs several different makes of trucks and they're mostly all powered by Cat C-15 ACERT's althought we have some older freightliners and almost all the new Cascadias are powered by Detroit Diesel. -

I break lot of stuff for you guys to fix and round off bolts with my assortment of crescent wrenches when you guys are to lazy to get there ASAP. I wish I could go to the shop pickup my truck and show up on the job at 10 am.

I'm also sure not to break anything until it hits 90*+ and get my machine warmed up good for you. -
