Default MAF and "silencer ring"

Hey guys I'm new on here and have a couple questions.

I have an 01' duramax with a drop in k&n, ppe boost incrse valve, mbrp 4" turbo back and some other towing goodies. I saw one other thread about the dmax not having a turbo silencer ring, but unsteady a piece up top I replace with sort of plug from lowes? Could you all help me out in detail, maybe pics of it all? Sorry, I don't want to mess my truck up.

And also, how do i clean my MAF?

Duramaxes don't have a silencer ring, but a resonator that sits on top of the intake tract.
I believe the Lb7s didn't come with one. They are just a cover and not a resonator. As for the MAF, you can get cleaner at your local Autoparts store.
