Default Is my DPF shot?

Hi I have a 07.5 100% stock never been chipped or modified in any way. I bough it last fall with 102k now it has 117k on it and its daily driven but I pull things once in a while anyway now it smokes and its getting worse I think the DPF is cracked. Will this cause damage if I don't tear it out? I don't want to put a new one in

Yes, it will cause more issues if not fixed. It can also put your motor into a derate mode, You should also look into a dpf delete kit.

Sometimes it's most beneficial (and cheaper) to just delete the DPF once you have a filter that has failed. Less moving parts always seem to equal more reliability..
