If youre gona stay legal youll want to look at dpf back exhausts. If you get rid of egr youll need to get rid of dpf as well. Look for efi live tunes and find a shop that dont mind doing delete tunes. If you are looking for multiple on the fly adjustable tunes you can go with efi and a dsp5 switch. Epa has got involved pretty heavy so a plug and play setup with delete tunes is hard to find and or very expensive.

diesel particulate filter its in your exhaust system and catches soot it fills up over time and does a self cleaning cycle called a regeneration cycle. With the egr system disabled your truck will not run a regen cycle and the dpf will clog up. Thats why it needs to be removed if doing an egr delete.

Ive got the Quadzilla Stealth 2 in my lmm dually and i honestly wouldnt recommend it. Its not a bad programmer but it doesnt really help with fuel mileage as much as you would expect. And if your looking to add power too, then its not very good in that since either. Dont get me wrong, If you crank it up, it will get up and go but with all the smoke, there wont be a road behind you anymore. I tuned mine up to the 135 tune and couldn't accelerate 5 mph without blacking out a 4 lane highway. I keep it on the 90 HP tune just because it doesnt throw as much smoke and the fuel mileage is better there. Cant wait to get EFI If you get EFI right off the bat, they can make you custom tunes that wont hurt your trans if you decide to get squirly with it. Its safer for your truck and will perform better. Plus you dont have to stop and do a 5 minute process to change the tune. Also, mine freezes up all the time and i have to start the whole process over again. Just my .02

I would honestly go with the Efi Live tuning. i run a four inch back straight pipe. i get amazing fuel mileage driving 55 i can average about 22 mpg and running 75 can average 18.5 and around 16 pulling a 7,00 pound trailer. An like LMMDrillDaddy said they custom build tunes for your truck and keep everything safe for your tranny and if you built your tranny you can add more power.
