This is different for every engine but most would say you are in the danger zone when you approach the 600hp mark, then you better start thinking about head gaskets, studs, rods, pistons, etc.

I would defineatly look into headstuds. But at 600HP and good EFI tuning by Idaho Rob or the guys at Duramax Tuner you can safely run at those power levels.
