Default Tree cuttin nightmare....

While attempting to drop a huge white oak today we somehow managed not to destroy my parents porch. After ropes breaking, the tree spinning on the cut and gently laying on the house, and a few hrs of careful limbing, we finally got her down. It did pinch the saw damn good and bent the bar. Talk about a sticky situation!!! See how small a space we got it to drop in? All three logs landed smack dab on top each other. Thought i was gonna be rebuildin a porch

And yes i've done plenty of tree work in the past. Used to work for a tree service and have dropped alot myself. This one was just extra special

Must have been a big beaver that chewed that big one down.'
I won't tell ya what i did once. It involves beer, tree & power lines. Luckily it was the neighbors house, i left and told him to call the utility company.

not to knock your abilities but your notch is going twords the house, and you need a bull rope not that small thing. Good saw though glad it didnt hit the house!

My buddy cut the notch but the tree still should've come down the way we planned. The notch looks really angled towards the house in the pic but's it's not as bad as it looks. It just didn't wanna cooperate. Oh and that's not the rope we were pullin with . That's the rope we tied to the saw to pull it free when the tree finally dropped. It was pinched so bad it mad indents of the chain links in the wood.
