Great gun I grew up shooting that gun almost daily, i think we had like four of them in the house when I was at home. Always wanted to bomb one but always had better things to spend my money on.

I have a 10/22t. if your going to get a 50 round clip than I would suggest a target barrel. you'll warp the stock barrel using that clip.
Mine has a 8x42 scope on it and the target barrel on it. Its very accurate. I tried nmot to spend too much on it as it is just a 22.

You can make that rifle into a TACK-DRIVER, you can also buy a .17 barrel for it and also shoot that caliber !!!

HI GRI, You have to match the 22 to the 17 !!! If your shooting 22LR the 17 has to be the same lenght as the 22LR, IF your shooting 22MAG then the 17 has to be the same lenght as the 22MAG.

Default Ammunition

Is everybody else seeing outrageous increases in ammo prices. Here in Kalifornia, the prices went up about 20% recently! They outlaw 1/2 the fun stuff and make the other half too expensive.

Noooooooooooooooooooo , I had one an it SUCKED , always jambed no matter what brand of bullets , i had 4 different scopes on that POS and it was impossible to sight in even on a bench it just shot everywhere , Only gun im happy i sold in my life

Get a Marlen 60 they are very accurate and tube fed and much much better than the horrible clip design on the 10/22 , I can reload the marlin 3 times before your clips fed on the ruger

chad you are on crack.

I had a marlin and the tube fed design is a PITA, especially if you want to unload it.
If your 10/22 did all of that stuff than it was warped some how. the 10/22 is renowned as one of the best 22s ever built.
My marlin worked and was ok but it was a cheap pile of junk compared to my 10/22

The Marlin Model 60, also known as the Glenfield Marlin Model 60, is a semi-automatic rifle that fires the .22 LR rimfire cartridge. Produced by the Marlin Firearms Company of North Haven, Connecticut, it has been in continuous production since 1960 and the company claims it is the most popular of its kind in the world.[1] Major features include a micro-groove barrel, a cross-bolt safety, hardwood stock, and brass inner magazine tube.

One of my favorite guns! I love my ruger 10/22. Got a 30rd clip (shhhhh) and a 3x9x40 scope for it a while back. Nothin like plinkin off a few rds after work. Eventually i'll buy bull barrell and new stock.

Only time mine jams is when i use the cheap butler creek 10rd clip i got as a backup.

Here's a great site for rimfire guns. Read up!

Default My favorite rimfire

Armscorp (Squires-Bingham) Circa 1981. Over 1,000,000 rounds fired through it over the years. Replaced firing pin last year. The more it wears, the better it shoots.

My son's SAVAGE 22LR bolt-action with a 4X BUSHNELL scope is very accurate !!! My REMINGTON 597 semi-auto, my MARLIN model 60 semi-auto are also accurate, My CHARTER ARMS AR-7 survival rifle semi-auto is only ok in accuracy, for a handgun MY RUGER GOVERNMENT model with the 6.5 inch BULL BARREL is extremely accurate.
