My dog has to hate me, he wouldn't do this to me if he didn't. He keeps wakin me up out of deep sleeps cause I can't breath. Ya, I said it, he wakes us up in the middle of the night with his stench. If your sittin in the living room there's times we just have to get up and leave for a while. I can't even say this dogs got gas, it's way beyond gas, it's toxic fumes floatin out a his backside. I've had dogs in the past with more then my share of gas problems and I'll even admit to blamin a few of my own on the dog when they're especially bad but this is horrible.

I've tried other foods for a few days and nothin matters it just keeps on spreadin around the rooms. I guess some Beano pills are next on the list.

Man I can't even describe in words what this is like. I'm taken the bullet for the wife tonight so she can sleep. He's layin here under my feet as I type. If I go to bed he follows me in there and sleeps on the floor at the side of the bed. I hope she appreciates me for the things I do for her.

I got $700 Oreck air cleaner runnin that is promised to remove all harmfull solids and gasses from the air. I got news for them, not all gasses. These two are dukin it out and I think the dogs winnin.

Not sure what you're feeding your dog food-wise, but check the label on the dog food bag for crude protein content. My guess is it's up around 23-26%. One of my Dobermans I had years ago could clear a room in a hurry doing the same thing yours is doing.
It's like us when we eat beans...lots of protein gives you some rank gas. The higher crude protein content does the same to them. Hopefully for your sake it will be a matter of changing dog food. The trick sometimes is finding something they like, that won't make them run you out of the house.

Have you tried adding a little plain yogurt with active cultures in it to the food? It could be a digestive problem.

I Agree With The Digestive Problem. My Buddies Dog Had That Issue Oh So Bad - Took It To The Mayo Clinic For Dogs. Only To Find Out The Pooch Had A Severe Digestion Issue. That Was A Year Ago, Now Just For Grins When i Am Over There I Fart Just To Make Him Jealous!
