Default *PLEASE HELP* No brake lights but 3rd brake light, hazards and turn signals work.

I recently bought a 2000 Ford Excursion 4x4 7.3L PSD. (FREAKIN' LOVE THIS TRUCK!) Problem is I don't have any brake lights at the moment. Fuses are all good. My 3rd brake light lights up when I apply the brake so I assume my brake switch fine. My turn signals and hazards light up so I assume the flasher relay, wiring and bulbs are fine. Any suggestion?

I was reading somewhere recently that it may be a bad multi-funtion switch. (lever at 9 o'clock on the steering column.) I know a lot of componets are controlled by this switch so it may very well be the culprit in this case. (turn signals, high beams, windshield wipers, winshield fluid spray, hazards, etc.) Are the brake lights tied into this switch too?

Not sure if this is related but when I turn on my high beams, both my headlamps turn off. (I have aftermarket Xenon HID's btw.)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Its either the bulbs are busted or loose connection.
