Baldwin Fuel Filters

These are fuel/water separators and arent rated in micron's they are rated by efficiency. They do however use the standard 20 and 25 micron test to certify the filters. I have a couple of pdf documents on testing done on these filters but I can post them here because they are too large. PM me your email address and I'll shoot them to you. BTW- the BF1212 does NOT meet Cummins standard.

looks like a good install, I am just not keen personally on the placement f a filter on the suction side ofa pump, it is easier for a pump to push fuel through a filter than it is to draw it through in my experience. I am referring to the small metal filter to the left of the bd aux pump/ carter in the pic. . I will toss this out, the Baldwin 7977 is a drop in stock location filter that is rated at 2 - 5 microns, way better than the stock, and a bit of insurance for our finicky injectors.
