i don't see why you can't O-ring the head..... if it were me i would see if the machinist could cut the block while he is at it and O-ring it too. that is what i plan on doing when mine finally lets go..... (knock on wood)

so now im confused,,i thought if you blew the head gasket you would have noticable oil comming from the head area? what does bubbling coolant in the coolant rez have to do with it,,please explain???

If your popping head gaskets that easily, I would suspect that either the block deck or the head face isn't flat. Even the "cheap" ARP's should be able to hold way more than you are throwing to them.

When a head gasket fails, it is coolant, not oil, that is released, usually right into the cylinder/combustion chamber of the piston. Bubbling coolant indicates exhaust gasses being pumped into the cooling system via the breached head gasket.

got the head checked the first time said it was fine.....got it checked again this time it was fine again we straight edged the blocka nd it was ok...H&S told me it was due to extreme drive pressure from the stock turbo and due to exhaust temps constantly around 1500

popping your head gasket can be oil... i blew mine right in front of #1 oil leaked everywhere... blew another one behind #6 and it leaked anti-freeze and bubbled in rez... just depends where it goes out at..
