I don't know what to think of the 6.4 I had 3 friends running them 2 of them blew a motor in less then 20K. One blew another motor around 65K. After waiting a month and finaly getting his truck back he traded for a DMAX All were 100% stock, The third friend has less then 10K on his truck and loves it.
I would have a hard time blaming a DPF delete for causing a engine failure.

as far as im aware sct doesnt have anything out for the 6.4. basically SPARTAN is the only realiable name in tuning for the 6.4 . but if it is done "RIGHT" deleting the dpf and all the other crap will make the new trucks last. so im gonna go with NO on the causing the engine to fail. unless something was not done right.

I only have 1,711 miles on my F250, I'm going to wait at least 2 years before I start putting performance parts in the truck, want to make sure everything is right, before I lose my warranty !!!

HI sidekick, I tried to buy a DODGE CUMMINS, but the dealer didn't want to give me a decent deal, so I headed for the FORD dealership & we sealed the deal !!

I believe the DPF and EGR system is causing the problems with the new 6.4. My dad has a 08 F-450 that he uses in his moving business and he lost the engine at 96K. From what the dealer said the EGR Cooler leaked and took out the engine.

He has 120K on it now and the new engine is doing well. This truck has loaded since day one with 25K. It is amazing how well it pulls and handles. You can here a pin drop in side the cab with a full load and 40 lbs of boost showing on the dash

Hopefully someone will come out with a EGR delete so when his 200K warranty is up I can get rid of the EGR and DPF

EGR cooler probably went for a dump because the radiator leaked. Did they put a rad in it at the same time?

All of the egr cooler failures I have seen on a 6.4 have been a direct result of low/no antifreeze.

I will bet you $1 that you will NEVER get that EGR valve out at 125k

I have sold quite abit of the Spartans and have had zero complaints. Definately the best tuner on the market for the 6.4L!
