just trying to let the truck breath a little. Don't want straits, too loud. I dont know if taking cat off would cause any boost pressure problems.Only thing I'm currently running is a Bullydog programmer

cut out both. get a aftermarket muffler. i cut my buddies muffler out and it wasnt quite as loud as straights but it was pretty loud. honestly look into a aftermarket muffler and get rid of both factory pieces. either way it will be better but if ya leave one of em on ur still having a restriction

Cut out both, i did it to my 04 it sounds great.

Yeah cut out both and run an aftermarket muffler to tone it down a bit.

Id just buy a turbo back exhaust! They are fairly cheap

Our expandit 4" or 5" with a muffler system sounds good on the common rail Cummins. Nice deep tone without being too loud

Your better off getting rid of both. Facotry parts are to restrictive...
