Default thinking about getting high idle/3cyl idle

Are there any negative affects I could see after getting it turned on at the dealer?

I would think maybe 3cyl idle might be rough as far as wear but Idk.

And when I go do I need to disconnect my chip and everything from the truck? Or can I leave it hooked up?

If you have a neighbor like mine, your relationship with that "young lady" will worsen.

I would reconnect the map sensor to the way it was factory, and pull the Juice out of the truck. Don't take the chance of them doing anything to it, as they will not take responsibility.

You mean leave the harness all connected minus the map sensor and pull the chip? That's what I was thinking that and the data link

You can also load a smarty tune (if there is someone with one close by) in and pull it back out and it will load the high idle and 3 cycle.

It is built in. Just make sure you have the lates software (REVO Ver. 1.26C ) to get the most out of the smarty.

So just load something in from a smarty if I can find one? Would stock tune work?

No stock tune is ECM stock. Also when you add a tune with smarty the smarty becomes vin locked to your truck so I you use some one else's smarty it I'll be vin locked to their truck. Or it will lock to your truck and not work on there's If they went to stock before giveing it to you

once you add a smarty tune and remove it the 3cyl idle stays you can return it back to stock but keep the high idle etc.
