Default Another Starter Question

2001 24v auto 4x4 290k

Here's what the truck is doing....when i turn the key to start the truck the starter turns but really slow.....almost wont start the truck!!!! so this is what i did....I took the truck down to the local Advanced Auto Parts and had them run a check on my charging system...and these were the results

BATTERY TEST (drivers side)<<<didn't do passenger side..guy said this one will do
Voltage : 12.96
Rated CCA : 710
Measured : 1197
Temperature :115

on the receipt it says NORMAL
----Battery meets or exceeds required standards----

Then it checked the Charging system and this is what it said

No load : 13.83v----9.9amp
Loaded : 13.80----3.2amp
<<<<Had me turn everything on in the truck while it was running

And then finally a starter test and this is what it said

Voltage : 10.30v
Amps : 379.8amp
Time : 1.17sec.
<<<<don't sound like very long but its way longer then normal!!

Drain Test : 0.52a Normal

Now i know what some of this means but it still don't tell me why my truck doesn't want to start.....i didn't think it was going to start this morning to drive home....i need to get this problem solved so i don't get stranded....i don't have that much money laying around so i cant just go buy 2 batteries , alternator and a starter and see if that fixes my problem....its going to be a one or the other deal....or i'm going to be driving my offroad buggy to work!!!
What could be the problem?????

any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Well guys after checking everything out it seems i missed one small detail.....sure i knew it had a very small amount of corsion on the battery cables but what i didnt notice was.....that both negative terminals are broken....see picture below....the battery on the drivers side is tight as can be but the battery on the passanger side negative terminal was loose....

would this cause the truck to start like it is trying to start with a dead or dieing battery? ? ? let me know what you thing please ! ! !

Check both batteries. More than likely you have a dead cell in the other one.

ok guys another up date on my starting issue.......this is what i did today

cleaned and or replaced battery cable terminals....only 2 needed replaced the other 2 looked really good after i cleaned them....also cleaned the posts on both batterys....put it all back together and.................still the same...very slow turning over but insted of picking up the pase and starting.... it got slower untill it stopped all together!!!!!

SO now im thinking .....must be one of the batterys are bad or like said above a bad cell.....ok so i take the batteries out and take them to advanced auto parts for them to check them out.....the following is what the recipt says

DRIVERS SIDE BATTERY :
voltage : 12.76v
rated : 710cca
measured : 735cca
temperature : 93*f

GOOD BATTERY

PASSANGER SIDE BATTERY :
voltage : 12.73v
Rated : 710cca
measured : 874cca
Temperature : 93*f
GOOD BATTERY

so i need more ideas as to what is wrong with my starting issue.....i guess the next thing
i can do is to take the starter off and go have it tested...but if yall got anymore ideas im all ears!!!!

You don't have to replace the starter.....just the contacts in the starter. Usually just the one from the positive side of the battery. Did mine with out taking the starter out.STARTER SOLENOID REBUILD KIT ('89-'06)-Dodge Cummins Diesel Truck Accessories – Geno’s Garage
