Default fluid leak

Hey, need ideas. got a lot of luid leakage below or below and in front of the power steering dipstick and in the steering gearbox area and covering all the way back to the trans. i cannot see where it is coming from or find anything loose. the fluid is thinnner than eng oil but it is so covered and dirty that I cant tell be if it is power steering fluid for sure. i thought that maybe the crank case vent had maybe gone nuts but it does not appear to have done so. fluid levels are normal. what do yall think. truck is a 99 2500 5.9 with auto and 4wd. thanks.

heat exchanger, tappet cover or vaccum pump seal are all possible things to leak in that area. It could even be bad blow by. I say washed it good and try to monitor it after you run the motor to see what the leak is.
