PULLING motor.apart to do head gasket. How do you get the last 4 pushrods out???

TugBoat's Sig: 01' 3500 6SPD , WORK IN PROGRESS... fass 150 , 85 HP stix, ejwa cts , arp studs, phatshaft, ats manifold, hrvp, 5" single out the back:.....

There is a hole in cowl above, just lift threw hole and turn and pull out. It stumped me for a while to. there may be insulation in way.

Yeah they can be kinda tricky. They stumped me the first go around as well

My local diesel guy told me before i did it... thank goodness cause this redneck would've never figured it out..

1st_gen_puller's Sig:01 2500 cummins, SRW, 6speed, silver, 4x4,white LED cab lights, SB DD 3850, billet in/output, Mag-Hytech pans, Edge comp, SO IP, FASS 150, stealth cover, 5'' Diamond eye TBE, 7'' mitre stack as a tip, BD boost fooler, glowshift pyro, boost, FP guages, Industrial Injections Super 62/80, AFE bladerunner, ARP studs, 125hp edge sticks, don m valve springs, ported polished head, stage 2 AFE intake. Barely pulls herself uphill..

I'm sitting there looking at the rods and I'm like this is typicall car manfs... can't do anything without taking up the cab ! Lol just like a 6.0 I wouldn't of found it. Lmao. Turns out head good after185 k . Gasket aroumd water jacket let go n was leaking externally . Can't wait to get it back together n beat it some more ! Thanks bombers!
