Hello Men! I'd like to know what makes a diesel engine lope like a built gasser. Also, does it have any performance benefits, or is it just for a performance sound?
Usually its just from oversized injector lines which you really wont need unless you're really into sled pulling or racing. Monster pumps makes an aftermarket VP44 that has a lope to it.
Alot of times a hot rod pump or especially monster pumps can have kinda a lopey idle. But sometimes they wont as well. Also alot of times in a gasser a cam helps give it a lope but with diesels we dont see that effect
I have Scheids Lightning VP44 and it has a little bit of a lope. It only does is in nuetral or park, when I put it in gear it smoothes out. I like the way it sounds sure gets peoples attention.
