Covering radiator
Any suggestions for covering the radiator to keep engine temps higher in the winter? My concern is the other coolers that are up front (transmission, etc). Unless pulling a hill I run about 170 and that's in moderate outside temps. When go east ill be in single didget temps.

would be best to attach your cardboard or plexiglass/lexan to the back of the grille so air can still be pulled through the radiator if necessary.
blocking it off completely like that with no air gap can cause a serious overheat issue when towing. also just cutting a hole infront of the clutch fan can prevent the clutch fan from ever engaging.

I put my cardboard out by the grill over everything and dont cover all of it. the main purpose for the hole is to keep from pulling the fan through the radiator. Dad said years ago he saw a couple guys who thought it would work good until they sucked the fan right into the rad because of the suction.
