4gsk
I have a 95 cummins 4x4 automatic. The only mods i have are, stock fuel plate forward,5" exhaust, guages and bhaf. My goal in the future is to have around 400hp. This truck strictly tows. I have a few questions about the 4gsk before i purchase everything needed.
1] Who makes the best 4gsk and 60lb exhaust springs?
2] I have read that adding a 4gsk will require 60lb exhaust springs. Are 60lb springs the same as the heavy duty springs?
3]I have also found that some sights say they strongly recomend billet retainers and valve spring keppers. Are they neccessary?
4]final question, since im going to be replacing exhaust springs, should i go ahead and do the intake side while im there? and what would be the purpose to do the intake side?
Sorry for all the questions.Thankyou all for taking the time to look over. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

PacBrake makes the best GSK that we have found.
As far as the springs I would skip the 60# and go straight to Hamilton Springs and be done with it. We have seen keepers strat being pulled through stock retainers with the 60# srpings. In my opinion it is best to upgrade to the 10* locks and retainers so that way you don't have an issue down the road.

Thank you for the info. I agree with what your saying. I am the type that would rather do it right the first time and be happy with it rather than trying to go the cheap route and in the end regret it. I just wasnt sure. With the little mods i have will i tell much difference once i do the 4gsk and springs? will it help any when pulling heavy loads?
