ok cleaned and checked tps seams to be working fine. and this is kicking my but i it shifts fine through all other gears and has plenty of power (no slipping). i know it could be the shift solenoid is there a way to test that as well???

knock the set pins out and drill the holes out bigger on tps then rotate it counter clockwise to increase voltage. what voltage are you getting at wide open throttle? then i would check shift solenoids.
