By "dual-band clutch" do you mean it comes with a dual disc clutch?

it's probably worth that if the clutch is pretty new and in good shape. the clutch kit from southbend is about 1100 new, the bell housing is 125,the hydralics are another 100 at least, and the transmission is worth another probably 800 or so if it's in good shape. I was going to do this on my 94 and got all the parts together except the clutch, then found the 97 that was already a 5 speed and bought it instead for $1500.

sounds like it's worth the money to me. If you get it you probably should check and see if it's the clutch you need or not before just putting it in. They make a lot of dual-disc clutches and there isn't much use in putting in a clutch thats rated for 700 hp with bad street manners when you could have went with one rated at 450 hp with good street manners that would still do what you needed it to as well as being more pleasant to drive.

i think its worth it for sure. around california a dodge diesel with a manual trans is worth a lot more to a lot of people. i would pay a extra 2000 for a manual for sure.

That is an amazing deal, I dont know where people are buying bellhousings for $125!! I paid $1600 for a 4x4 trans (rebuilt) with the bellhousing and had to fight to get the bellhousing, they wanted another $400 for the bell but the guy who quoted me was new and put it on the quote by accident, my SB dual disk with flywheel and bigger input shaft was around $1500 so yes that is a good deal.

the bell housing is in southeastern oklahoma. I'll sell it for $125 now. I bought a 97 with a 5 speed so i don't need it anymore.
