HE351CW or HE351VE?

HE351CW swaps have been done several times, it is a decent upgrade.

a he351cw is a 60/60/9 it is a fun upgrade over the hx but not a huge one.

parts you will need

he351cw
hx40 down pipe
hx40 to he351 adapter flange
hx40 v-band clamp
he351cw v band clamp
a plug for the electronic controller on the cover of the he351
and you will have to fab up a charge pipe as the 351 has a 3rd gen cover.

$350 for the charger and prolly $250ish for the hardware so $600+ for the upgrade
not bad compared to a small s300 which will be in the $1200+ range

stay in the mid 30's on a stock charger. much more is just hard on everything with very little benefit as far as power goes. volume is what is important NOT PSI! the 60mm wheel will move more air than the 56mm hx will at whatever psi it is running at. volume not PSI.
