Default 96 missing

I got a 96 and it has a miss. When its idling its rough but when you take off you cant feel it miss at all but can here it popping out of exhaust. i keep checking for air in the system and i cant get any. Things that have been done so far.....new injectors, fuel filter, sender, injection pump out of one that was running before totalled, #6 fuel plate, timing advanced to 16.5. retourqed head bolts. My fuel pressure gauge at idle shows 17 psi. It is really rough when you put it in gear at idle and sometimes it stalls. Also need to use pedal to start or it will just crank.

it pops out of the exhaust?

that says open or burn valve to me. have you done a leak down test?

or is it like a stumbling miss? any white smoke, which could lead one to a bad injector or slipped/retarded timing.

possible leaky fuel heater? any damp fuel lines pre lift pump. this is where you will pick up air in the system and have no real leak.
