Default My latest project!

So I finally went out and bit the bullet, and bought a Bradford Built. I got tired of worrying about the dually fenders, and needing to bedline the bed, so I just decided to get rid of it all together.

Caught about 5 hours of sleep, last tuesday night, thanks to work, and then drove 4 hours one way to pick up the flatbed.
One of these is mine!

Guess it was this one!:hehe:

My copilot and backseat drivers...happy to have them all!

Everything is off except for the front 4 bolts. Just waiting to borrow my neighbor's mini excavator to pull the bed.

New one ready to go on...this bad boy was heavy!!!!! I had to keep the excavator straight in line with the truck, so I could drop the dozer blade to keep it from tipping over, when I lifted this one on!

All stripped off. Had to take it for a test drive, just because-it rode like crap, :hehe:
Also took it to the car wash and pressure washed the frame and undercarriage, while the bed was off..

After I had dropped the bed on, but hadn't gotten it mounted yet...I don't have any good completed pics, since it was dark when I finished...

Tail lights hooked up and working...Mad props to Bradford Built for making a stupid simple wiring harness, that I only had to use about half my wires on my truck...

With the reverse lights...I have mine set on a switch, so I can use the high mounted ones as work lights...they're bright!!!

I got to finish the wiring for the two receiver plugs on the truck in the next couple of days, and the only mod I did was cut out the built in gooseneck in the flatbed, because I wanted to use my B&W turnover ball instead. I'll get more pics tomorrow, when it's light out!

Don't know why photobucket links aren't working?
