4x4 light won't come on, 98 12v
So I was out of roading and I must have flung up a rock or something which then hit 1 of the vacuum lines that locks in the hubs. So that point I had no 4 wheel drive and my light wouldn't come on when I put it in. I got my vacuum lines fixed and the 4 wheel drive seems to be working at least the 4 low does the 4 high I not sure it seems to go in but hard to tell without jacking it up however my light still doesn't come on just wondering if anybody has any advice or ideas I really doubt that it's just the dash light bulb that went bad

On the side of the CAD (center axle disconnect housing) there will be two vacuum lines coming from the transfer case, and then there will be an electrical plug near them(not sure on placement exactly...). this plug has two wires, it is your signal for the 4x4 dash light, make sure its snug and not damaged by whatever knocked your vac lines off...
4x4 works or doesn't regardless of the dash light, the light is switched by the end of the CAD fork rod actuator pressing and releasing a botton in the housing when vacuum pushed the fork into the engaged position (pic attached)
(just my $.02: get a posilock kit, i have one, its awesome... 2wd LO, and i know for sure if its engaged or not)
