67-69 C10 shortbed stepside
 

I am looking for a truck I can rebuild for my dad. It can be just a shortbed, no bed with short wheelbase frame, etc. Just needs to be fairly intact with minimal rust. No drivetrain needed, I'm going to do a modern drivetrain for the old guy-
My budget for the initial purchase is only about $1500. Transportation is not an issue, but I'd like to stay within about 700miles, that allows most of WA, OR, northern CA, UT, NV, WY, MT, CO and AZ. If I find an awesome deal a little further I could stretch my travel limits.
