New to the TDI world!
a few weeks ago I traded my 01 cummins for an 06 Jetta TDI 5 spd straight up. I couldnt be happier. I love this car!:jump:

That's one way to get better fuel economy:jump: Might not be so good in the mud:w2::c:

haha yea, but ill get another truck when its affordable. I sure do enjoy driving this car though, its such a blast.

Congrats. I've got 2 tdi's and one powestroke.. couldnt' live without either one of them. Although I'd kill for an 06.. I love the mk5 generation.

on my last tank of fuel i got 50.1 mpg! it was about 20-30% highway. I was pretty excited!

I got a 06 jetta TDI new and have a 127,000 miles on it now. I put a frost heater on and did a timeing belt service at 102K and thats it. Still drives like new. I don't know what it is about the Jetta TDI but for a car it really is fun to drive:c:

i love this car. its looking like ill get another 50 mpg tank this time as well. i havent done anything other than timing kit air and fuel filters and oil change. i want to do the frost heater and maybe clutch and injectors but idk yet.

what year is your tdi? and what mods do you have done to it?
|
Its a 2000. Big turbo, nozzles, custom downpipe and exhaust, custom front mount, custom charge piping, higher flow intake. That's the gist of it :D
