Here is what I found. According to the parts catalog, the pt #1K0-820-803-S has been superceded to a pt# 1K0-820-859-F. From what I found, there is no stock available. These are new, no re-mans available. The price I got is $683.75 +tax. I just thought of something. If he hit a coon, why not just turn it over to his insurance company and pay the deduct. I think @ this point, that is the better way to go.

His wife hit a truck with it earlier this year, then someone backed into the car on the same trip that the coon took out the AC and there is a huge door ding in the passengers door. He is afraid the rates would go up across the board and it would be cheaper in the long run to pay this out right.

He just bought a new one, said there was a huge back order on the compressor and since he pre-paid, they put him on top of the list. The dealership called 6 hours later to say the part was in... Anyway, thanks for the help on this one. It was appreciated.
