Clutch 05 VW Jetta TDI?

So I bought a really clean 05 TDI Jetta for the wife. She loves it I love it great car paid a little more for it than I should have. Put almost 6000 miles on it since Sept. When we bought it. It has 26,264 miles on it. Went to Abilene today and everything felt fine got there and almost all the way home and the clutch pedal sticks to the floor about 100 yards from the house. Do the TDI's go through clutches? There is no resistance when I push the pedal and the pedal stays on the floor, slave cylinder maybe. It is dark and there is too much stuff in my shop to pull it in and look at it. Thanks guys I appreicate any help or addvice you can give me.

normally they dont unless you jack up the power a little bit like a programmer and injectors would. but in a normal engine they dont unless your dumping the clutch a lot. and you would feel it slipping a lot before it completey goes out. go check out tdi club Fred's TDI Page. TDIClub.com. VW TDI Enthusiast Community

they know a lot more than i do. if it is the slave cylinder it is a rare problem

i have seen the clutch disc come apart on those cars and it jams up the pressure plate, and it sticks the peddle to the floor
