2006 Jetta TDI sounds like it is missing?

I have a 2006 Jetta TDI 5 speed that sounds like it is missing at idle. It runs fine, pulls fine you can slightly feel it up to 2000 rpm. My local guru plugged it into his VAG COM and the only code I am throwing is either a glow plug or a glow plug harness I cannot remember but he tested them and they are all working fine and my car starts with no problems. Does anyone have any ideas?

Possible cam issue? Might look at the cam and possibly do cylinder kill test.

Thanks. My first thought was cam because the BRM motor has known lifter issues which trashes cams. But the mechanic said it doesn't sound like a cam at all. I was thinking injector or injector harness but wouldn't that cause a problem all the way through the RPM range not just from idle to 2k? I am going out of town in March and he will have it for about 4 days so he said he would dive into it more....if I don't trade it for a Cummins I am going to look at this weekend first.

I think it may be the fuel temp sensor. Temps reached up into the 50's today and i had no problems with the car.
