first carnage in almost 3 years
The starting area was slick out to about 75'. When the front tires made the transition the truck started to shake. When the rear tires hit the better track it busted the rear drive shaft.

at least i am n ot the only one. that guy in the blue looks like he didnt want to be there. never even looked at ya. lol

That no bueno man. Looked like it coulda been a good hook
I talked to the sled operator before anyone hooked. We both knew it was a bad situation waiting to happen. The truck is running good and I had hopes for a good hook. There's a couple more left to finish out the year. I'm going to bump the timing up from 24* and maybe put in the 5X.018's and see what happens.

Ouch, sucks the track prep was junk... We get alot of that around here some times :td:
Been there man, was that a stock driveshaft?
Been there and done that way to many times, i finally had to do all 1480 parts on the rear
Aftermarket shaft but still 1410. At this point in time I'd rather have the shaft as the weak link. This wouldn't have happened if it weren't for track conditions. If I had 1480's it's hard to tell what would of happened, maybe nothing. :nope:
