That actually sounds like good advice, just don't ride the clutch too long or you will roach it! Good luck it's fun:jump:

Yup slip it outa the hole with a good dose of throttle then let it engauge and floor it

that single disk is not gonna last very long once you start slipping it.

are you gonna pull on tight or loose tracks?

tight or loose track??

good clay compacked or loose dirt is what he talking about the tighter the track the better hook you will have. An on the other hand a tight track likes to eat clutches :hellox: good luck it wont be you last hook :w2:

yes, sticky or loose would be another way of saying it.

a tighter ( sticky) track will be harder on you driveline in your case either your t case or you single disk clutch will take a beating. It might take a few launches in 3rd low before it starts to slip, if you wanna hook often you should look into a dual disk.

if you wanna smoke your clutch try 3rd and slip it off the line, if you wanna keep you clutch good start in 2nd gear and dont throttle it, tell fully released.

2nd low range is a very slow gear ... no real point in hooking

no real point in hooking with a single, you wont have a chance against someone with a dual disk but if you do pick a gear and do it right so you dont smoke your clutch.
