Got her to turn some RPM!

Left the line at 5k and carried 4200 rpm down the track. 3rd low, 3.54's, and a 33 inch tire.

Now I need to get some front weights and tweek some other little things to help it hook better. Im very happy with the way the truck sounds now:choochoo:

P7100 injection pump on a 12v with 5k governor springs and the supporting mods in the motor to handle the abuse.

I like to bring the turbo down as easy as I can. I burp the throttle at the end to give the motor some extra raw fuel to help cool things inside down and slowly bring the rpms back down.

sounds good, how much weight can you hang? If you can keep the wheel speed up when hanging weight should do pretty good, you need to have a lot of ground speed and maintian it the whole run, it looked really good :tu:

I can hang 1400lbs and be right at 8,000lbs.

my wheel speed is right arround 25mph, but you are right I need to improve my ground speed. hanging some weight should help a good bit with that tho.
