What Trans Do you Pull with?

Hey guys, just wondering which kind of transmission you pull with. Nv4500? Nv5600? or 47re/rh or 48re? Meaning the serious pullers.. Not if its your everyday go to work truck and hook to the sled twice a year. I mean pull for points and have a built up trucks. Which tranny have you had the best luck with?

I am assuming a 2.6/2.8 truck? I like the nv4500, but alot of people use the six speeds and the autos. If you look at some 2.6/2.8 trucks you will find all of them runnings any of the trannys, they dont stick to one of them, seen guys do well with them all. Now if your talking super street/pro stock truck, either nv4500 or reverser.

im going to be running the 2.6 class this year.... looking for 800hp+ and im running a 47rh

its a manual vb, billetized 47rh with a Gate Shifter

For pullin it seems to me that in Dodge about any manual tranny or built auto would do the trick because the weak link is gonna be the transfer case. Any of these trannies will pull harder and faster then the transfer case will handle.

i pull with a nv4500 and nv5600. I wouldnt say the tcase is the weak point i doubt your gonna break a np241dhd. You can make the drivetrain bullet proof in dodges except the ring and pinion in the d80 which is the only weak point that you cant solve.

NV4500 4L 4th 5.13s 36/14.5/16 sts
NV5600 4H 2nd 4.10s 285/75/16 bfg ats
