Got bored today sitting at the fire house on duty (read REAL slow)

So I decided I would go ahead and move the hitch on the pullng truck forward. Got it forward about 6"... I forgot how much I LOVE drilling holes in frames... :argh:

i had done the same thing, only like 14" in, just wondering why you didnt go any farther in? anything is better than nothing!

The frame on the 1st gen turns up sharp... This winter I'm gonna build a custom one that is farther up

just watch the rule book bobby there is a certain distance it has be be back from the axle to pull

RSWORDS 09-28-2008 09:36 PM

Got plenty of room... all i have to do is keep it behind the tail gate. the rules say it has to be the rear most point (not including sled stops) or a certian distance from the axle. Thw tail gate is back from the axle farther then the distance so all I have to worry about is it being the rear most point... Besides... What rules? :D

Read over the other thread in this section about rules and see what you think? These are the ones that I'm gonna try and get temple to use next year to make things fair.
