Who Makes Good Flatbeds????

Just wanted to know who makes good flatbeds, both steel and aluminum. My dad has a 2000 ford F-250 with a serious cancer problem under the bottom of the bed. The thing is rhino lined, which seems to be holding it together, but scary to walk on. He is looking for an after market bed, probably aluminum, but would look at steel. He pulls a recreational 5th, and has pulled assorted goosnecks and 5ths, so it would need to be set up for towing. Figured you guys would be the ones to ask. He doesn't want to break the bank, but he knows it won't be cheap. Thanks.

Best in The business is B&W but there's no end to choices out there.

All depends how wild he wants to go. You can get into just some plain jane steel beds pretty cheap that have turnover balls in them.

Hillsboro also makes some decent steel and I believe they even make aluminum ones now too.

If he tows alot of both types (gooseneck and 5th wheel) then the B&W turnover ball hitch with the 5th wheel companion is a slick set up, but spendy.

Just put a Bradford Built FB on my 05 Ram. LOVE it so far. This thing is so stout, and it looks good too.

To be honest, I don't even remember. I was just there for the initial look at the bed. It is my personal trucked owned by my brothers company who paid for it. So frankly, I'm not 100% sure. IIRC it was somewhere around 3k for everything, maybe a bit more.

I know this is a little late, but the bradford built bed on my '99 f-350 was 1800 bucks

A company named Hillsboro, out of Kansas is the only all Alum. bed that I know of. As for steel beds just pick your poision. CM, J-I,bradford built,B-W.
Check out my pictures of mine. Western Welding out of Cordell,OK. They're pricey, but by far one of the better beds i've been around. They have a website westernwelding.com(I think):tu:
