The Buy It Now Price on that first trailer, is low enough that you couldn't even buy just the steel to build it that cheap. Even the metal would cost more then he's askin and that doesn't include the cost of the axles, tires, hitch, paint, lights and all the misc building cost.

Its only 25 feet long... a buddy of mine just bought one as nice as this, 40' tandem axels, dually wheeled for $4k. He practically stole it but to me this 25' isn't a huge bargain.

not a huge bargain to me either,
a trailer rental guy told me that he'd never own another triple axle,
he had one and it ate up tires big time.....i've never owned a triple so info is "hear say".

The Deck is 25' long, which would make the over all trailer length about 32'-34'. In my world, when I can get a trailer for a fraction of what it would cost to build it myself it's a bargain. Being conservative here and assuming everything is the cheapest available, there is over $1500 worth of just axles and tires there. Things must be a little cheaper around you, cause it's worth alot more than that around my area.
I am also kind of one sided here on this trailer cause I hate dual wheels on a trailer though. I always prefered triple axles.

Yeah in OK things are a little cheaper i think. When i say 25' i understand the overall trailer is longer than that but the deck is the only useable space. The trailer my buddy bought was 40 deck length for $4k. Was that a bargain? Heck yes it was. I'm not saying this 25' dovetail isnt' a good price - i believe the dovetail adds more value to it so it may well be worth it, i really don't know what the value of this trailer is. The fact that you can't haul anything very long reduces that value to me. If you a single piece of equiptment like a tractor and brushhog or backhoe or something like that, a 25' trailer is fine i suppose.
