Whats The Breakdown - Including Vehicle Wear?

I am a hauler but looking for a way to add it to the bill of laiding and not get shot by the customer for the charge

I added a $5.00 per invoice fuel surcharge as well as have increased our prices $6.00 per service over the past 12 months.

I am not a hot shot, but the fuel prices have made me make adjustments to our prices. Some people balk, but I asked them if they drove to work that day? And if they have notice the prices for gas has gone up recently.

Our truck charges went up 3%, and pilot car rate went to 55.00 per hour, luckly my other job is right across the street and i walk to get groceries.....
