Air ride fifth wheel hitches

Bought a new truck so I need a new fifth wheel hitch. The trailer just has a reqular pin box, no air ride. Was thinking of getting an air ride hitch like trailer saver or some thing similar. Any of you guys using one or can recommend one? Any experience you wish to share to help me would be appreciated.

A friend has one on his ToyHauler. Overall he is 41'6", and is very confident it helps a lot. He hasn't ran without it though. I am thinking of getting one as well, as my overall is 38'6".

i run one on my true air ride 40' g/n trailer. i'd say it definately helps with some of the bumps and you can watch it working in the rear view mirror but my air ride trailer soaks up the bumps really nice without it. i think the one i bought was a air safe hitch. it was around 1800. i wouldn't buy another one to be honest unless you are riding lots of miles like i do (120,000 or so a year). save up and get a true air ride trailer or conversion kit.
