Anyone running these? I'm looking for tires in a few months and have been looking to upgrade from the so-so BFG RT stockers. They'll be mounted on stock forged 17x8's. I'm also considering the 285/75 Dura for load capacity; either way the height is what I'm mostly after. Both tires are very close in price (about a $20 difference stepping up from the Duras to the Terras). The 305 might slightly rub at full lock, but have a set of Thuren arms on the short list so no issue there. Do not want 35's; they're all mudders and I don't need anything that aggressive. Finally, will be buying at my local Discount (like to support local businesses v/s internet shopping if possible). I understand they are just as wide as 35's, and are sticky, so tight, low speed turning will be affected (parking lots and such). I have a Borgeson box and shaft in work for that, also. Last, I plan on a 2.5" level with steering brace, Thuren track bar and one of Don's Fox stabilizers, so the extra heft won't even be noticed.

This truck is my DD, road warrior and ocassional tow/haul beast. I live on a dirt road and have several in my area that tend to flood if you pee on em'. I also do beach runs and light trail running.

The last set of Terras I had was on a 2000 F250 SD; 285/75-16 that were fantastic on that rig.

No one? How about a bit smaller at 285/70?

I'm running Nitto terra's 305 60 18 n I'm not having an issue with mine. There on 18x9 rims. One uneven roads and soft gravel I notice how they want to pull ya a little bit but Nuthin you shouldnt be able to handle. I have a 3-4 inch lift in my 06 dodge. My next tires are gonna probably gonna be dick cepek fc-2's in same exact size possible. N I don't have any rubbing except on the mudflaps a lil from the whole tight a** corners in the little a** parking lots. But thats bout it so far..

Also a lot of people I talked to they say with there terra's they get stuck in wet grass with em.. well my truck is my dd weekend warrior and sometimes work truck. I work construction and one day we had a rain day and it was either go through soft a** clay or 5 mile detour to go home well i choose the clay in 2wd (my truck is 4x4) but I didnt think it was that bad as it was n I was surprised they handle really well for what i was expecting . Didn't get stuck. Bogged down a lil but got me through. And I've also have had my mudding experience with four wheelers and previous trucks haha

The set on my Super Duty many years ago; pulled a 6k bumper pull trailer through about 12" of muck. Still needed to use 4x4, but pulled it without much drama. I was overall impressed with them; didn't have them long enough to know about tread wear, though; needed 10 ply when I started pulling full time (those were 8) and wagged pretty bad when towing.

305's are a hair over 12 inches wide so a 35x12.50 would be half an inch wider. :c:

The 305 is about a 34 x 12, big enough to make a difference over stock.
