Coil help

Can anyone help tell me what kind of springs are on my truck. They are dark grey...... Here's a pichttp://img.tapatalk.com/a6cd0bb9-4822-944a.jpg

I'd probably check with the person who put the lift in... Its tough to tell just by a color or lookin at them :humm:

Yeah as Matt mentioned it is tough to tell... I can think of a few just by looking at the spring spacing and coil thickness but I really don't want to give false info..

It looks like a linear rate coil, but the top coil spring has been spaced further apart to ad a little more lift to the spring. How does it ride?

It rides decent I feel there is room for improvement.

If your thinking about improving then maybe we shouldn't worry about figuring out what springs they are..haha

If they were out of the truck I could tell you what spring rate they were but instead I would look at either some Carli or Thuren coils and possibly getting rid of those 5100's. Believe it or not the 5100's are a pretty firm shock. So if the spring rate is stiff and your running a firmer shock you can guess what your truck is fighting...
