Time for new tires
The Generals have made it a whopping 45,000 miles on my truck in signature. For those of you that tow most of the time (95% of the time my trailer is behind my truck grossing 30,000+ LBS) what tires have you gotten the most miles out of ???
I don't "need" all terrain tires but would like to have all terrains. I am looking to get close to 100,000 miles out of my next set. |
good luck.. not being a dick but thats a lot of miles for a tire
You'll be looking for a commercial type tire that's for sure.
If you want to get 100K you'll need 19.5's or 22.5's because you wont get it with a LT tire. :c:
Maybe if 60k of the 100k is on jack stands lol
I know it sounds impossible but a couple guys I run into a lot in the oil field that haul like I do have gotten right at 100k from Michelin's. But man they are priced higher than eagle pu$$y.
falken makes one thats guaranteed to 60k i think. They were on discount tire direct good looking tire i think they were called wild peak ats or maybe rocky mountian ats. but if your going with one of them make sure you call and get the right ply i almost got 8 ply on accident. I went with there all terrain hankooks love them so far but i dont do any towing either.

Michelin LTX AT2 tires have a 60,000 mile warranty on them. They are also load range E. These tires came on my truck and, even though I only have 6K miles on it, I like them so far.
If they are seeing that many miles on the tires then sounds to me like you should get you some. You will be saving money if you get them opposed to buying 2 sets of some other tire:argh:
