How do these tires stack up against more typical E-rated tires from Discount Tire? Do they get as good of traction? How much do they weigh? Do they affect your mileage much?

these tires are load range H rated at 6400 lbs.....see the rickson link I provided at the top post anyway the only downfall is they are stiff and roughin up the ride a bit traction was great no highway noise more so than normal they are heavy.....like 3x that of any 16" tire ya have milage was about the same as with my 16" tires on |
So far since I put mine on a few weeks back I have found that the mileage and ride is about the same as with my old tires, for snow they work well but in mud they are almost adequate and as far as weight, my aluminum Rickson wheels and tires together weigh in at 110 pounds per corner. For the added weight rating and tread wear on these things, I'll never go back.

I have the steel wheels and total weight each was 172 lbs :U:
I also have the smallest tire size on these that they will hold and that cuts a considerable amount of weight. I think in the spring I'm goin bigger though.
I really like the 265's I got now
Damn it! That's just something else to add to my list of things I want for my truck.
wow, nice lookin tires bud! and making $240 back isn't bad either!
Hey Whitty. So now you've had these through some bad weather, how are they.
