Skyjacker Junk

Hey guys im here to bad mouth about skyjacker lifts. I put a 4" skyjacker lift on my 91.5 dodge w250 and all seemed fine for the first month. For all you guys that know anything about lifts, skyjacker sent my the leaf springs for the front end. I put em in, everything was fine till about a month later and then all hell breaks loose. The leaf springs flatened out and it was so bad that the shakels on both sides were rubbing my frame. So we called them up and told them our case and they said that the front bushings were bad in the front end. So we ordered bushings and had them replaced and we still had the same problem. Then they said putting a reliever leaf in the leaf set would solve the problem. So they sent us the leaf but we had to pay the shipping. So whatever 30 bucks, we put them in and things were back to normal. Two weeks later everything was back to the way it was this time proly worse. I could turn my wheel to either side and the shakel would grind into my frame. Called Skyjacker told them that it didnt work. They told me that i had an inferior truck and that they will not help anymore. So after fighting with them for a week or so they finally said that they would send out new springs for the front end at our cost. The springs out of the truck are suppose mesasure at least 6 1/4" from center of the eyes on either side to the point of most arch at the bottom, any less than that and they were considered shot. We ripped the old skyjacker springs out yesterday and measured them and the were just at 6". Bullshit!! Put the new ones in that they sent us which btw measured 6 1/2" before we put them in and now we just installed them and the shakels are almost already touching the frame and they havent even settled yet. Skyjacker customer service is shit, they did not wanna help me fix the problem and im out almost as much as a new lift. There product in inferior and i would not buy any of there product.....period. Sorry to be bitchy but this is bullcrap.

I personally have never dealt with Skyjacker. I have friends who have gone through multiple sets of control arm bushings in their TJ Wranglers in a very short period of time, and I know they had a pretty hard time getting help from them.

Did you order springs for a Cummins and not a gasser ? :c:
